This king size quilt (98” x 98”) is designed and hand crafted by Jean Paull Of Copper Center.
It depicts a couple fishing on the Klutina River. The image is surrounded by sockeye salmon & Fireweed…all individually designed and sewn.
You will love sleeping under this warm cotton masterpiece because it’s lined with a fleece backing & filled it 80/20 cotton/polyester batting. The bindings are hand stitched.
Raffle tickets are $15.00 each. The raffle will close at 8pm Saturday June 18th, 2022 at the Fireweed Festival when the lucky winner will be announced.
You do not have to present to win
Jean Paull began her interest in quilting in the late 90s although she was always interested in just about anything to do with sewing. Her husband Ron managed a fast trip into her heart when he bought Jean a sewing machine before they got married. She completed her first quilt back in 2003.
About 2010 Jean got a 12’ ‘long arm’ quilting machine so she does her own ‘free motion’ (FMQ) finishing. (Prior to this she sent them out to be quilted.)
She still hand stitches the bindings and her work grows more intricate and colorful from quilt to quilt.
As pastors of the local church, Ron & Jean Paull have made many positive contributions to the residents & visitors of Copper Center. We’re grateful that Ron & Jean are part of the Copper Center Community.
